About me
I’ve worked in tech for 15 years, mostly with ‘design’ in my job title. In this time, I’ve worked on ecommerce, editorial, music software, print-on-demand automations, computer vision solutions, personalisation journeys, LLM integrations, legal tech, donations strategies, and much more.
I’ve increased conversion, engagement and customer loyalty. I’ve improved workflow efficiency with new innovations. And I’ve improved accessibility, consistency and scalability of legacy platforms.
My strength is my ability to deeply understand core business needs, step into the user’s shoes, and also consider the wider sociological impacts that technologies can have. With this strength, I can arrive at solutions that have a positive effect at the micro and macro levels.

A hybrid role.
I am a Senior Designer at August, bridging product strategy, stakeholder management and hands-on design. Prior to this, I led design at Atticus and The Conversation.
As a bridge between research, design, strategy and product, I unite teams. I work best when I've got a big problem to solve with a strong mission behind it (like reimagining RedBubble's product discovery or re-platforming The Conversation's editor cms) but I am also a valuable contributor to tactical roll outs like accessibility improvements, building out design systems or incremental updates that meet strategic metrics. I am extremely adaptable, efficient and collaborative.

I can ask the kinds of hairy questions that builds trust and reveals the remarkable ‘unknown-unknowns’.

I’m not just design-thinking my way towards a human-centred solution. I go beyond this by assessing risk, innovating, testing, and comparing effort vs impact. I diagnose, assess the feasibility of different solutions, and determine the right strategy. I can carry a project from problem to solution to implementation. I can learn, ideate, prototype, test, build, launch and learn again.
